Dear OOG, concerned with water quality issues wherever,

SB 810, Burton, is an excellent bill recommended for passage by ocean water quality and forest activists. SB 810 would give the Regional Boards their appropriate authority over regulation of timber-related discharges. It has to do with requirements that timber harvests comply with State Regional Water Quality Board best management practices so that waste discharges from timber harvests won't negatively impact sediment-impaired watercourses, streams, rivers, etc. SB 810 has passed both houses of the State Legislature and is on the Governor's desk awaiting his signature.

Please email, fax, phone Governor Davis asking him to sign SB 810. Below is a sample email to copy and paste to the Governor.
