Subject: OPERATION FIRING FOR EFFECT WWW.OFFE2008.ORG MANDATORY HEALTH CARE FUNIDING FOR VETERANS AFFAIRS ON ELECTION BALOT 2008

Director Tom Splitgerber,

Please go to our web site www.offe2008.org Operation Firing For Effect. We are a veterans advocacy group dedicated to getting Full Mandatory Healthcare Funding for Veterans Affairs. We ask your veterans advocacy group to circulate and vote on this Resolution that we have submitted via e-mail with Press Package to follow. Our immediate goal is to get the State of California to put this one question on the election ballot of 2008

"Shall the federal government be required to adopt full mandatory funding of the Department of Veterans Affairs for the purpose of ensuring that all eligible honorably discharged U.S. veterans receive quality and accessible healthcare and services?"

Before we submit this to the San Diego Board of Supervisors we would like to bring this to a vote in your council for approval then submit the Resolution to the San Diego Board of Supervisors so we can say that San Diego California backs this Resolution. Presently speaking Mayor Coerper of Huntington Beach California had a vote with his City Council and they voted unanimously to favor such a Resolution to be on the voters ballot of 2008.

Operation Firing For Effect will be happy to come to one of your future meetings to make a quick presentation on Mandatory Full Funding for Veterans Affairs to be placed on the election ballot of 2008. The People of the United States should have the right to vote on this important issue in the 2008 elections.

Thank You
