A CALL TO ACTION!
VETERANS PUBLIC RALLY - III
Sunday, April 6th - 1:00 - 4:00 PM
"Save Our Veterans Land"

National Veterans Home
N/E Corner - Wilshire and San Vicente Boulevards in Brentwood

WHY:  To stop the disgraceful and irreverent land grabbing of this hallowed property and demand government's full compliance and enforcement of the Land Grant Deed of 1888
by honoring and implementing the Veterans' "Declaration of Enforcement."

"SAVE OUR VETERANS HOME" - This land was specifically Deeded 120 years ago to be permanently maintained as a National Home for America's Military Veterans.   Our government must cancel the no-bid, behind-the-scenes land-grab of 16 acres of Veterans hallowed property that was given away rent-free for a public community park. This parcel of land is estimated to be worth nearly one billion dollars, yet Veterans receive absolutely nothing while their healthcare services are seriously underfunded and woefully inadequate.
Veterans Park Conservancy, a special interest activist group has bigger plans to take control of Veterans land and build a "central park west" for the general public.  This National Home is a place of historic quietude for Veterans rehabilitation and convalescence and there must never be any consideration for a noisy public community park of any kind whatsoever.
There is absolutely nothing in the Deed of 1888 that allows anyone to designate any land for a public park, open space, commercial use, or any other purpose whatsoever, other than for the direct benefit of America's Military Veterans. America's citizenry must demand government's enforcement of the Deed just as it was Patriotically Granted on March 3, 1888: “To be permanently maintained as a National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers.”

WHERE:  The Rally will be held at the Front Gate and on the Sidewalks outside of the National Veterans Home, situated at the Northeast Corner of Wilshire and San Vicente Boulevards in Brentwood. (Just north of Federal Avenue)

WHO:  Southern California Veterans and local community supporters will gather together at the Sunday Rally.  Organized by "We the Veterans" and BRAVO (Brotherhood Rally of All Veterans Organization)

WHEN:  Sunday, April 6th - From 1:00 - 4:00 PM

DO YOUR DUTY: Our great nation was founded upon the volunteerism of brave men and women of our United States Armed Forces who have always patriotically defended our unparalleled American way of life.  Now, we need to protect and defend this hallowed land that was Deeded in 1888 for the exclusive benefit of those who have honorably served to defend our country.  For over a century, every generation of Americans have protected and passed this sacred land on to the next generation of Veterans. Now, a group of special interest activists in the surrounding communities want this land for their own use.  We cannot allow that to happen on "Our Watch," and we are calling upon all fellow Veterans along with loyal and faithful community residents to honorably support this noble cause.

DO YOUR DUTY AND SHOW UP EVERY SUNDAY!
PLEASE Forward This to Fellow Veterans and Friends of Veterans

THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT
Let it be known to friend and foe alike, that the support for Veterans' Sunday Rallies to “Save the Home” is near and dear, as well as far-reaching. Most importantly, the support we are receiving is loyal and without compromise.
Two new Flags for our Rallies, the American Flag and the “Prisoner of War / Missing in Action” Flag, were patriotically sent from June Griffin of Dayton, Tennessee, to show her loyal support for our Sunday Rallies to “Save the Home.”
June donated the Flags on behalf of the “Tennessee MinuteWomen” who patriotically support our noble cause from 2,500 miles away. June is a staunch defender of Veterans rights and causes and is a Member of the Daughters of the Colonial Wars and Daughters of the Revolution.
American Flags were also patriotically donated by Gene Simmes of Rochester, New York.  Gene is CEO of “Operation For Firing Effect,” which is a national organization for Veterans causes. We truly appreciate this loyal support from 5,500 miles away.
America's Military Veterans are extremely grateful for this patriotic support from fellow Veterans thousands of miles away, as well as near by. Additionally, Veterans are equally grateful for all the local community supporters who devote their selfless and patriotic help to “Save the Home.”
